Oddly enough, ...I like the 'score -8' idea. Oddly enough, it works equally well when tied to another idea I have been toying with for tying ability score to class without overloading the game with bonuses: using ability score as a level limit for its related class. <br /><br />I could apply the effective -8 to multiclass characters, and suddenly people can multiclass all they please but only reach name level in any class if they have a 17 or better in it.<br /><br />(I hope you don't mind me riffing on your idea in this way; it just struck me as really relevant to something else I'd been fiddling with.)Jonathonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12424548045152722964noreply@blogger.com
