For those who didn't see this link elsewhere: Project Gutenberg now has "Armour & Weapons" by Charles John Ffoulkes, complete with images. This was one of the primary references Gygax and Arneson used for D&D.

I would point out, though, from a thorough reading of much of the D&D books out there and a cursory glance at this book that the picture presented here is pretty out of date, and not a good source of legit info on the subject.
It's interesting mainly for its role in shaping D&D.
