Demon Dogs!

I usually don't do media-related posts here (I save that for my LiveJournal.) However, Thundarr the Barbarian is just too obviously of interest to gamers. I figured there's at least one or two people who might want to know about a DVD release of Thundarr and read some show background from Mark Evanier, who worked on the show (and thinks he may have been the one to name Thundarr. Check out his blog for more details.

Oh, and if this is the first time you've heard of Mark Evanier (the writer for Groo the Wanderer, among other things,) and you've never been to his blog before, you might want to read his story about how he became one of the main developers for the Dungeons & Dragons cartoon (and finally learn why the other kids didn't just ditch Eric the Cavalier someplace.)

  1. YES! I ordered my copy W00T! I assume you've been over to Savage Afterworld to see the lovely Thundarr gaming goodness going on over there?

  3. @Jay: I don't think I was aware of this site. Thanks!

@Scott: amusingly, that makes Eric a Chaotic Neutral cavalier.
