Diagrams

I've been re-doing the naval movement diagram (and will probably touch up the hit location diagram as well.) I'm wondering if I need some kind of melee position diagram. Originally, I was thinking of an overhead shot diagram to illustrate d6 rolls for change of direction when lost in the wilderness and possibly for splatter patterns or stray arrow fire. But it also occurred to me that I might want a 10'x10' square with a scale diagram of a fighter just to show how much space people occupy. Although 10'x10' rooms are pretty common in dungeon maps, I'm not sure many people realize that a typical dungeon party of 4 to 6 people plus hirelings cannot all fit into a 10'x10' room comfortably.

So, do I need a diagram for that, or possibly try to merge it with the direction diagram (and maybe even a marching order diagram?)

  1. A melee diagram doesn't sound like a bad idea based on the format.
