As some of you may know, I've been delaying work on Liber Zero until Delving Deeper comes out, because I want to see what is currently available in the LBB-gaming niche to decide what I need to do. It's been a little frustrating, because Delving Deeper keeps getting delayed, but the latest news is that there is now an additional book that provides Delving Deeper in a different "flavor". Specifically, Delving Deeper: Perilous Mazes will be a Holmes clone and "expansion", although it's not clear yet how much of an expansion it will be.
This is good news not just because we who preordered the box set will be getting Perilous Mazes as a thank-you for our patience, but also because it's intriguing to see how it will be different from the boxed set and how it will emulate Holmes. From the indications, it may turn out to be a very simple, low-cost 0e-style gaming option.
